Do you work with my competitors?

No. Once I take you on, I won't take another business in your category within your metro area (25-mile radius, or your full metro — whichever is larger). It's written into every contract and holds for as long as you're a client. The shop down the street doesn't get to hire me a month later — you'll know I'm 100% on your side.

How much does a website actually cost?

There's no upfront build fee — the build is included in one monthly price. I price on what your business actually needs rather than off a fixed menu, so the number comes after we talk, and you have it in writing within 24 hours.

What doesn't change: no upfront check, no hourly billing, no surprise fees, month-to-month so you can cancel any month, and the site becomes yours after a year on plan.

How long until my site is live?

Standard builds go live in 5-10 business days from the day I kick off. Bigger projects with custom features take longer — but you'll know the timeline before I start.

Who owns the website when it's done?

Your domain, your content and your Google profile are yours from day one, in your name — you keep those whatever happens. The site itself is part of the plan: it stays live and I keep building, hosting and running it while you're on it. It becomes fully yours after a year on plan, or you can buy it out anytime to own it sooner. Cancel before then and you keep a full working copy — the ongoing work just stops. No annual contract, no exit fee: you can leave any month owing nothing.

What if it's not working, or I'm not happy?

You don't launch until you're happy, and it's month-to-month — cancel any month, owe nothing more, and your domain and content stay yours. I'd rather earn it every month than tie you to a year.

What if I already have a website?

Easy. I'll audit what you have, tell you straight if it needs rebuilding or just upgrading, and quote accordingly. Sometimes a few tweaks beat a full rebuild.

Do you offer hosting and ongoing maintenance?

Yes — that's the whole model. Hosting, security, backups, and upkeep are all included in your monthly plan; there's no separate hosting bill. The plans step up by how much you want me doing: keeping it running and fixing what breaks, actively marketing you (Google Business Profile, reviews, local SEO, a monthly leads report), or building and running the custom tools your business needs. Stay a year and the site's yours to self-host if you ever want to.

Do you also do business cards, signs, and promotional stuff?

Yes — every project includes physical promo materials. Business cards with QR codes, Google review cards, referral cards, counter signs, social media graphics — all designed to match your brand. I handle the design, you approve it, and it's print-ready.

Do you only work with businesses in my area?

I work with local businesses anywhere in the US. Most of the work is remote, with calls and screen-shares to keep things moving.

What clients say

“Steve built us an awesome website! Our old site was outdated. The new one shows customers that we are professional. He is continually editing the site to make it better. The site was up within like 2 days. We couldn’t be happier with the results!!”

“I was starting my mobile RV repair business from scratch and Steve at Rise Local handled the entire launch for me. He built my website, got me set up online and on Google, helped me form my LLC, and put together a full marketing gameplan to actually bring in customers. I didn’t know the business or the online side at all, and he walked me through every piece of it — domain, branding, all of it.”

★★★★★

“It’s a very clean look that I wanted exactly how he made it and he was very transparent on assisting me on what I wanted. The website sends leads straight to my discord and email. Having clients sign up is also quicker with his product. Steve is working hard all by himself, he handles everything, and if I ever wanted to change something he instantly was there for me.”

“I own a digital marketing agency. I notice how people in this industry actually work — and most of them don’t. Steve at Rise Local is different. He’s not just building websites and hoping for the best. He’s handling your Google and Apple Maps presence, cleaning up your reviews, setting up booking systems, running ads, and meeting with you monthly to make sure everything keeps moving. That’s the full picture — not just one piece of it.”
